Data Engineer (Data Warehousing)

TL;DR

Location: Remote within Europe (Cyprus, Georgia, or Ukraine) or onsite in Paphos, Tbilisi, or Kyiv.

What you will do

• Design and develop the Data Platform for the football simulator.
• Ensure data quality and validate data consistency within events.
• Maintain and document existing and new event data structures.
• Migrate and maintain job scheduling processes using tools like Airflow.
• Build and optimize BI reports and data pipelines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Experience with analytical databases: ClickHouse, Vertica, Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of ELT/ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Java (including design patterns) and basic Python.
• Experience with Linux, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.

Nice to have

• Advanced Kubernetes experience.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• Familiarity with Chaos Engineering.
