Project Manager

TL;DR

Project Manager: Leading the delivery of large, complex IT and network technology projects with an accent on managing significant benefits and risks for customers. Focus on adapting project management methods, ensuring PMO compliance, and acting as a customer champion to deliver brilliant experiences.

Location: Hybrid (UK Wide), requiring 3 days in the office in Manchester or another UK location and 2 days working from home. Applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance (UK resident for at least the last 5 years).

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of large, complex projects, programmes, or portfolios with significant benefits and risks.
• Manage project risk for BT and customers using recognized project management methods.
• Ensure clear communication of demand and contract requirements to PMO and resourcing functions.
• Act as a customer champion, resolving issues and ensuring quality and timeliness of delivery.
• Understand customer business context and programme impacts on successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with Practice, Hub Managers, and Client Services for consistent customer delivery.

Requirements

• Experience delivering a broad range of IT and network technology.
• Experience delivering projects with complex budgets of £1 million to £20 million.
• Highly-developed project management skills for technical solutions.
• Commercially and financially astute with ability to improve profit/new business.
• Great stakeholder management skills with internal and external partners.
• SC Clearance eligibility (UK resident for at least the last 5 years) is required.

Nice to have

• Previous telecoms experience in core network, WAN/LAN, or cloud voice/contact centre environments.
