Location: Hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA, Austin, TX, or New York City, NY, requiring office visits twice a week once the development center is established. This role is open to U.S. candidates only.

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year

• Design and create tools to enhance automations that deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure.
• Collaboratively brainstorm, define, and build software solutions to solve complex technical problems.
• Develop architectural and automation strategies, representing the systems team as a technical leader.
• Raise the technical IQ of the team by learning and sharing newest technologies.
• Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables, both individually and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Significant professional work experience developing frontend applications with a focus on user experience and satisfaction.
• Comprehensive experience utilizing React.js (or similar front end framework) with deep familiarity of core web concepts (JavaScript/HTML/CSS).
• Practical experience working with both REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working within a large-scale production environment and developing/troubleshooting applications across functional teams.
• Familiarity with developing and using CI/CD pipelines, automated unit/acceptance tests, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Strong focus on security when developing/reviewing code or systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience utilizing the Twelve-Factor App methodology.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with graphics & data visualization tools such as D3, ThreeJS, or ElasticCharts.
• Experience utilizing Golang to write/debug/optimize scripts or applications for automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Alertmanager.
