Finance Analyst

What you will do

• Perform monthly accounting activities for Cyprus entities, including analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely clearance of outstanding items.
• Support Cyprus statutory compliance, including preparation for VAT returns and corporate income tax computations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual statutory audits and regulatory reviews.
• Assist with MEA financial closing cycles (monthly, quarterly, year-end), ensuring IFRS and internal control compliance.
• Review and reconcile accounts payable activity, ensuring correct VAT treatment under Cyprus VAT law.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Fluency in English required.
• Hands-on experience in accounting operations, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a multi-country setting.

Nice to have

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Experience with Cyprus statutory audits, VAT compliance, tax submissions, or regulatory filings.
• Greek language skills.
