Location: Denver, CO; San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; Toronto, Ontario, CAN - Remote. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role).

Salary: $163,000-$204,000/year in Denver, $178,000-$223,000/year in Los Angeles, and $197,000-$247,000/year for San Francisco, New York, and Seattle.

What you will do

• Build and refine infrastructure and tools that enable other teams to work with data.
• Take full ownership of the solutions you build, partner with other teams, work with stakeholders to refine ideas, shape scope, implement solutions, monitor production, and troubleshoot problems that arise.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate with existing systems and unblock dependencies.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support the deployment of supported platform services and the management of the underlying infrastructure.
• Identify, adopt, and improve frameworks, policies, and tools to streamline the development process.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience building data infrastructure at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience building solutions in the cloud (GCP/AWS/Snowflake).
• Experience with streaming systems (Kafka or similar).
• Ability to turn vague requirements into clear deliverables with minimal guidance.
• Curiosity and ability to operate in an AI-native environment, leveraging AI tooling to enhance infrastructure operations.
