Data Analyst (Dataiku)

TL;DR

Data Analyst (Dataiku): Delivering data-driven insights with an accent on data preparation, analytics workflows, and supporting machine learning use cases. Focus on practical application of Power BI, DAX, Python, SQL, and Dataiku in complex data environments.

Location: Hybrid (Porto). Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Porto office. Requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

• Deliver data-driven insights with a strong focus on Business Intelligence and Analytics.
• Utilize Power BI for data modelling and DAX development.
• Leverage Dataiku to support data preparation processes and analytics workflows.
• Prepare and structure datasets for analytics initiatives and machine learning use cases.
• Perform data manipulation and analysis using Python and/or SQL.
• Contribute to or support machine learning models within Dataiku environments.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics.
• Practical experience with Power BI, including data modelling and DAX development.
• Hands-on experience using Dataiku for data preparation and analytics workflows.
• Experience in preparing and structuring datasets for analytics and machine learning.
• Working knowledge of Python and/or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Availability for a hybrid work model, 2 times a week in the Porto office.
• Requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to or supporting machine learning models within Dataiku.
• Exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based use cases (embeddings, prompt engineering).
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.
• Understanding of data governance practices and model lifecycle management.
