What you will do

• Manage the lifecycle of local payment methods, from discovery and integration to performance monitoring and optimization.
• Act as the go-to expert on payment systems in Mexico.
• Identify and evaluate new payment partners and processors, negotiating terms, and supporting onboarding and integration efforts.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of payment features across the platform.
• Monitor key payment KPIs and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide ongoing market intelligence and insights on payment trends and competitive landscape in the Mexican fintech market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or e-commerce, ideally with exposure to payment method management in Mexico.
• Strong understanding of the Mexican payment infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, anti-fraud measures, and payment compliance requirements under CNBV and other local regulatory bodies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, monitor performance, and identify trends or issues.
• Proficiency in English (intermediate to advanced).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of payment reconciliation, settlement, and treasury operations is a plus.
• Experience working with cross-functional product and technical teams (e.g., APIs, payment gateways).
