Location: Hybrid 2-3 times/week in Sao Paulo, Brazil

What you will do

• Collaborate with Business Units to identify, evaluate, and document operational risks and controls.
• Assess potential operational risks associated with new product launches, integrating risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct reviews of operational incidents, map associated risks, and lead investigations to determine root causes.
• Support the First Line of Defense (1LoD) with the review and challenge of Business Continuity Management processes.
• Identify, document, and track operational risk issues, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Internal Controls, Internal/External Audit, or similar areas.
• Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
• In-depth understanding of operational risk frameworks (e.g., COSO).
• Knowledge of Brazilian regulations applied to financial institutions (BACEN, CVM, and Anbima).
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• SOX and Coding skills (SQL, Python, Scala, or other similar programming languages).
