What you will do

• Benchmark system performance and conduct detailed database performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks, optimize configurations, and debug production issues.
• Partner with core development and cloud teams to improve cloud platform efficiency.
• Drive Chaos Engineering initiatives and develop tools for systematic system disruption.
• Extend the backend architecture to support automated performance and resilience testing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, C/C++, or Java.
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure services, specifically Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of distributed system architectures, concurrency, and multithreading.
• Proven ability to lead and ship large-scope technical projects across teams.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of OLAP database internals.
