Software Engineering Intern (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Software Engineering Intern (Fullstack): Building and maintaining a SaaS platform for the music, film, and TV industries with an accent on collaborative, iterative software development practices. Focus on developing code, test suites, infrastructure, and documentation.

Location: Must work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely in New York City, NY

Salary: $18.50 per hour

What you will do

• Work with your team to deliver on hirify.global’s product roadmap utilizing modern software development practices, including cutting-edge AI development tools.
• Develop all parts of the stack: test suites, infrastructure, documentation, etc.
• Tackle bugs and tech hygiene tickets from the backlog.
• Contribute back to our engineering practice in ways that best demonstrate your own unique strengths.
• Work with stakeholders including data, design, product teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Available for 8-12 weeks between June-August 2026 to work in our New York office
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Nice to have

• Interest in the entertainment and music industry
• A solid foundation of Computer Science fundamentals and object-oriented design principles
• Experience writing code in Java, Spring Boot, React, and/or TypeScript
• Understanding of basic database interaction
• Strong communication skills and a desire to learn and grow as an engineer
