Salary: $100,000–$150,000

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional project teams in designing and developing high-quality client deliverables.
• Implement innovative data engineering solutions independently and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Provide strategic advice on project direction, resource management, and timelines for internal teams and clients.
• Analyze data, synthesize findings, develop actionable insights, and communicate results to internal and external teams.
• Manage projects independently, handling client communications, meeting facilitation, and timelines.
• Develop and optimize data processes, utilizing coding for efficient data handling and reporting.
• Promote strong coding standards by developing efficient practices, conducting code reviews, and guiding the team.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, overseeing their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a relevant field of study.
• Experience with relational database technologies, such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience using Python, including pandas and/or PySpark.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Effective leadership and project management capabilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience building systems in event-driven or streaming architectures.
• Life Sciences industry experience.
