Salary: $111,000.00–$155,500.00

What you will do

• Build, enhance, and maintain Android application features that deliver high-quality customer experiences.
• Design and implement clean, testable Kotlin code, including APIs and data models, following best practices.
• Contribute to system and low-level design for mobile components, screen flows, and integration with backend services.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues in Android applications to improve performance, stability, and usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, ensuring high code quality with unit tests, integration tests, and CI practices.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve product outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience developing Android applications using Kotlin, including shipping and supporting features in production.
• Experience owning well-defined components or services within a mobile application, including API consumption, data modeling, and backend integration.
• Solid understanding of Android fundamentals (lifecycle, layouts, networking, threading) and core software engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and the ability to safely integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions into mobile features under guidance.

Nice to have

• Proficient in Kotlin for modern Android application development.
• Experienced with Jetpack Compose for building scalable, declarative Android UIs.
• Knowledge of mobile design patterns and Android architectures (such as MVVM or similar).
• Track record of improving performance, reliability, and observability of Android features at scale.
• Experience contributing to or influencing mobile application technical design.
• Demonstrated practice of operational excellence for mobile apps, including monitoring, alerting, and on-call participation.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI-driven tools in development workflows or mobile product features.
