SoC Power and Performance Engineer

Salary: $122,440–$232,190 USD annually

What you will do

• Measure, analyze, and debug power and/or performance gaps in workloads and collaborate with internal engineering teams.
• Measure and analyze SoC/CPU and platform power on a rail-by-rail basis and debug any issues.
• Align with internal engineering teams and architects to ensure consensus on power and performance projections and measurements.
• Guide, educate, and influence internal engineering, field account, and marketing teams on hirify.global product positioning.
• Create power and performance estimates for upcoming hirify.global products to aid marketing decisions and set internal KPI targets.
• Own the publication of Power Performance Guide (PPG) collateral to guide OEM customers.
• Bring up full test platforms to enable both power and performance measurements, including setup, calibration, and measurements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a post-silicon environment, system architecture/CPU micro-architecture, or system engineering.
• On-site presence required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of x86 CPU micro-architecture.
• Understanding of standard benchmarks and ability to analyze performance.
• Familiarity with ITP/JTAG scripts, board bring up, and power measurements with DAQ.
• Prior experience with hirify.global products or other CPU products in a post-silicon engineering environment.
