A fast-growing tech company is looking for a 𝐃𝐁𝐀 & 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 to join its database team and take ownership of production-scale data infrastructure.

This role combines 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐃𝐁 𝐃𝐁𝐀 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚 & 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞) 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Own and manage MongoDB databases (Atlas & on-prem)
• Support SQL Server & PostgreSQL (on-prem & AWS)
• Monitor performance, availability, and system health
• Manage HA/DR, backups, recovery, patches, and upgrades
• Build and maintain data pipelines (Airflow)
• Advise engineers on schema design and query optimization
• Participate in On-Call rotation

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
• 4+ years experience across data platforms
• 2+ years as a DBA (MongoDB + relational DBs)
• Hands-on Data Engineering experience (Airflow preferred)
• AWS experience (1+ year)
• Strong T-SQL skills
• Experience with Git and code workflows
• Solid understanding of security, data integrity, and scalability
• Fluent English
