What you will do

• Lead a team of compositors across one or more projects, providing strong creative and technical direction, and supervising shot creation and finishing.
• Collaborate efficiently with the VFX Supervisor, VFX Producers, and Coordinators to implement and execute clients’ vision to the highest standards.
• Participate in technical and creative calls with directors and clients.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to assign tasks under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times.
• Provide clear and constructive feedback when reviewing shots, maintaining quality and consistency in large sequences.
• Ensure quality control and compositing teams’ delivery of high-quality work.

Requirements

• 7+ years working in a VFX studio environment.
• Expert level knowledge in Nuke/NukeX, Mocha Pro, Photoshop.
• Strong artistic aptitude for shot composition, design, element creation, and look development for sequences.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a VFX production environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with After Effects, CG, and additional software packages.
• Experience with Shotgrid management software.
