What you will do
- Lead the payments function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of client deposits and withdrawals.
- Enforce internal controls, AML checks, and compliance procedures to mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
- Manage escalation of complex payment issues and drive process improvements, including automation.
- Lead initiatives to implement robotic process automation (RPA), system integrations, and workflow optimization.
- Lead and manage a team of Senior Analysts and Team Leads, overseeing workloads and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Risk, Compliance, Product, IT) on system upgrades and new payment methods.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of proven experience leading end-to-end payments operations, including deposits, withdrawals, settlements, and reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage PSP and banking relationships.
- Experience handling escalations, high-value transactions, and complex payment investigations.
- Track record of driving process improvements and implementing automation initiatives (e.g., RPA, workflow optimization).
- Proven leadership experience managing senior analysts and team leads, including workload planning and performance management.
