What you will do

• Build and maintain data transformation, visualization, and AI tooling.
• Establish a data architecture for easy discovery, collaboration, and global data product reuse.
• Partner with data teams to scope and prioritize opportunities, delivering measurable business impact.
• Foster a growing community of Analytics Engineers through training, documentation, and collaboration.
• Manage a multi-skilled team of 3-5 engineers, supporting their development and happiness.

Requirements

• Passion for being at the cutting edge of analytics engineering, beyond dbt.
• Breadth and depth of experience in the Analytics development lifecycle.
• Extensive knowledge of Python and Git, with solid software engineering foundations (e.g., testing, CI/CD, observability).
• Ability to work with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing competing needs and prioritizing value.
• Autonomy and pragmatism, as projects will be varied and self-driven.

Nice to have

• Experience leading small teams.
• Familiarity with BI platforms like Lightdash, Looker, Omni, or Metabase.
• Experience managing software vendors.
