Location: Hybrid work model, allowing split time between on-site at assigned hirify.global sites in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Folsom, California, US, and off-site.

Salary: $149,600–$211,200 USD

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain compiler backend optimizers and code generation components.
• Develop and refine code generation and transformation techniques for performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with hardware architects to implement optimizations for next-generation hirify.global hardware.
• Execute comprehensive testing and validation of compiler features.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks using profiling tools and benchmarking.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in compiler backend design/implementation, application of compiler concepts (LLVM, GCC), or C/C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Experience creating and characterizing performance using micro- and macro-benchmarks.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Master's or PhD in relevant fields of study.
• Contributions to open-source compiler projects.
• Knowledge of x86 Instruction Set Architecture and advanced CPU features (AVX, AMX).
• Knowledge of Operating System Fundamentals and x86/Arm CPU Architecture.
