Senior Python Engineer (Python): Building and expanding workflows and user flows for hirify.global's product with an accent on enhancing the summary page and enabling automated Quote-to-Cash and agreement processes. Focus on architectural decisions, driving design processes, and ensuring scalability and performance of production-ready code.

Location: Fully remote with an opportunity to work from anywhere worldwide. Optional visits to offices in Warsaw, Lisbon, or Kyiv are welcome.

What you will do

• Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Product Designers, and Analysts to create a positive customer impact.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive the design process.
• Write clean, self-explainable, testable, production-ready code, considering non-functional requirements such as scalability and performance.
• Follow a feature through its entire lifecycle, from problem formulation to solution delivery.
• Improve internal processes and documentation.
• Join an on-call rotation after onboarding to strengthen reliability practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the team.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of development experience with Python.
• Strong experience with system design and microservice-based architectures.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL queries, migrations, optimization).
• Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, NATS, Kafka).
• You care about quality and understand what it means to ship high-quality code.
• You’re a strong communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts.
• Communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
