About the Company
R2P Invest operates as part of a global group focused on analysis, acquisition, and resolution of non performing loan portfolios (NPLs) across Central & Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Americas. The company invests directly in NPL portfolios or indirectly via partner entities, and also provides loans to related companies. Revenue is generated through portfolio performance, investment returns, and interest on intercompany lending.
Role Summary
The Business Analyst will support strategic and operational decision making by providing financial, portfolio level, market, and performance analysis. The role is central to enhancing reporting frameworks, supporting investment evaluation, and strengthening data driven processes as the company scales. Bridging the gap between business and IT.
1. Communication Skills/ Technical Communication / Bridging Skill
A broad and essential ability to express ideas clearly to IT department departments , i.e. to translate business needs into clear technical requirements that developers can act on, often described as the ability to “bridge the gap between business and IT.”
2. Stakeholder Management
Engaging, coordinating, and aligning different departments of the company.
Key Responsibilities 1. Financial & Operational Reporting
• Contribute to the enhancement of the company’s reporting framework, including visual, structural, and technical upgrades.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual analytical reports for senior management and partners.
• Track loan facility conditions, interest structures, and historical rate changes.
2. Data Management & Process Optimization
• Work with internal teams on the development of operational tools that improve automation, data structure, and analytics.
• Implement improvements to ensure scalability and efficiency aligned with company growth and increased portfolio volume.
3. Portfolio & Investment Analysis
• Analyse performance and cashflows of NPL portfolios acquired directly or via partner entities.
• Evaluate investment cases, including ROI modelling, delinquencies, cost recovery timelines, and collection projections.
• Support analysis of revenue sharing arrangements.
Required Qualifications
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or Power BI is a must.
• Ability to work with cross border data and collaborate with international teams.
• High attention to detail and strong problem solving mindset.
