Location: This role requires working onsite in one of the following locations: Belgrade, Serbia; Berlin, Germany; Limassol, Cyprus; Munich, Germany; Paphos, Cyprus; Prague, Czech Republic; Warsaw, Poland; or Yerevan, Armenia.

What you will do

• Participate in PyCharm development from the discussion of new ideas to the final release.
• Perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing of various IDE components, including regular and AI features.
• Conduct usability testing to ensure product quality.
• Communicate with users in the bug tracker and process their requests.
• Reproduce issues in both existing and new functionality across different environments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in the quality assurance of software products.
• Basic developer skills sufficient for writing simple applications.
• Strong belief in high-quality and user-friendly software products.
• Ability to detect and reproduce complex functionality issues.
• Willingness to communicate with users and help solve their problems.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.

Nice to have

• Love and good knowledge of Python.
• Experience with PyCharm or other hirify.global IDEs.
• Interest in AI and basic experience with it.
