TL;DR
Senior QA Engineer (Compliance & Release - Wild Rift) (Mobile Game QA): Leading release quality for Wild Rift platform releases with an accent on platform certification, compliance testing, automated build pipelines, and live-service readiness. Focus on designing release QA strategies, monitoring crash and update-failure metrics, coordinating external testing partners, and mentoring QA engineers.

Location: Riot Games China offices

Riot Games develops and operates player-focused video games, including League of Legends and Wild Rift.

What you will do

  • Own the release QA process from submission readiness through first-party certification and launch testing.
  • Drive compliance testing for age ratings, EULA requirements, and regional policies with partner FQA teams.
  • Define platform testing, regression, and release-readiness standards across builds.
  • Monitor crash rate, ANR, update failure rate, and other quality metrics to identify production risks and root causes.
  • Coordinate external testing vendors, mentor QA engineers, and communicate quality risks to production and engineering stakeholders.
  • Improve asset and build delivery pipelines and represent player needs in product readiness decisions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software or game QA experience with multiple live product launches.
  • Experience with platform compliance, certification submissions, and Apple and Google Play submission guidelines.
  • Experience with automated game packaging, incremental resource updates, build generation, and hot-update mechanisms.
  • Strong coaching, communication, stakeholder alignment, vendor management, and cross-team influence skills.
  • Fluent Mandarin and English.
  • Mobile automated build pipeline experience is highly preferred.

Nice to have

  • QA experience across mobile, console, and PC platforms.
  • Exposure to age ratings, first-party submissions, and regional compliance.
  • ISTQB Foundation, Agile Tester, Expert Level, or Advanced Test Manager certification.
  • ICAgile Agile Testing or Test Expert certification.
