What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning operations, product management, and engineering to build new technologies and features.
• Develop production systems that prevent fraud.
• Help to prototype, implement, and productionize new anti-fraud solutions at scale.
• Ensure successful deliveries, promote long-term technical health, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment.
• Take ownership of critical features, be accountable, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing RESTful web services.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
• Experience dealing with event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, AWS SQS, AWS SNS).
• Experience applying computer science fundamentals like data structures, algorithm design, and problem-solving in microservices and high-volume distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English and Portuguese.
• Must be located in Brazil, as this role is only open to candidates in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang.
• Experience with Cloud-based architectures, specifically AWS.
