What you will do

• Perform copy-edit and on-demand translation tasks on assigned projects.
• Provide lead support, manage language materials (glossaries, Style Guides), and handle project-related queries.
• Ensure good interaction among team members and resolve terminology and language matters.
• Test and qualify new freelancers and vendors, and develop/train internal linguists and external partners.
• Interact with clients on linguistic matters and participate in process improvement.
• Meet or exceed KPIs for productivity, on-time delivery, and quality.

Requirements

• University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent work experience.
• Native-level fluency in Norwegian and fluency in English.
• 4+ years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing.
• 2+ years of review experience.
• Experienced as a translator in Mobile Apps, Search Engines, IT Consumer products, Entertainment, Marketing, Software UI, and Websites.
• Excellent knowledge of terminology in IT consumer products, social media, and entertainment.
• Good user experience of standard CAT tools (e.g., XTM, SDL Studio) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
