What you will do

• Conduct online, batch, and data verification testing; validate results and create test designs.
• Analyze requirements to design complex testing strategies and perform risk analysis for integrated testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Java, Gherkin, and Cucumber.
• Execute and analyze test results, identify and report defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery practices by integrating automated tests into the build process using tools like Jenkins.
• Own testing activities for medium to large features with minimal supervision and proactively escalate risks, blockers, and quality concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a technical field (or additional experience in lieu of degree).
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Java programming language, with experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in writing automated tests for web applications, Android applications, and API testing.
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices and tools like Gherkin and Cucumber.
• Extensive knowledge of industry-standard tools such as Appium, Jenkins, and Git for test automation and continuous integration.
• Must be able to start work at 10am at the earliest.
• This role requires hybrid work in Prague, Czechia.

Nice to have

• Conversational knowledge of Czech language (B1).
• POS or Bankcard industry knowledge.
• International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification.
• Familiarity with automating iOS devices.
