What you will do
- Provide regulatory and compliance guidance to the hirify.global Canada business.
- Monitor the regulatory environment and legislative changes.
- Lead the drafting of AML/KYC compliance reports related to fiat and virtual asset transactions in Canada.
- Manage and review assigned compliance cases within defined SLAs.
- Support all AML ATF and sanctions related operational processes.
- Contribute to risk assessments and compliance reporting for Canada.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in compliance at financial services, with a particular focus on cryptocurrency and fintech.
- Knowledge of Canadian compliance and regulatory matters, including FINTRAC guidelines.
- In-depth understanding of compliance requirements related to cryptocurrency flows, including transaction monitoring and risk assessments.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment within Canada and attend mandatory offsites.

- Professional Compliance qualification and membership of a recognised professional body.
- Experience working at or with crypto exchanges or fintech companies.
- Experience with Canadian securities regulation or CIRO Investment Dealer.
