TL;DR

Product Designer (VR/Creators): Designing workflows, interfaces, and systems for new content types, specifically props, within user-generated worlds with an accent on translating technical complexity into approachable UX. Focus on empowering a global community of artists and developers through intuitive creation, management, and publishing tools across multiple platforms (Desktop, VR, Mobile, Web).

What you will do

• Partner with design lead, PMs, and engineers to design and improve props and content creation (upload, management, publishing, monetization).
• Design intuitive interfaces for creators with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Translate technical concepts into approachable UX through thoughtful flows, clear visual hierarchy, and user-friendly microcopy.
• Pair with community and support teams to understand creator pain points and use insights to improve tool usability and reduce friction.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups across platforms (Desktop, VR, Mobile, Web).
• Run lightweight usability testing to validate designs early, identify friction, and iterate quickly.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional product design experience, ideally for tools, platforms, or workflow-heavy products.
• Strong UX instincts for simplifying complexity without sacrificing capability or clarity.
• Comfortable working in Figma and collaborating with engineering.
• Ability to think in flows and systems, understanding how tools fit into broader user lifecycles and full product ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Unity, hirify.global SDKs, Blender, or other dev tools.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Understanding of trust, safety, or moderation systems that support healthy online interactions.
• Familiarity with social VR, presence-based UX, or designing for avatar-based expression.
• Experience working on cross-platform design (desktop, mobile, VR headsets).
• Passion for online communities, emergent social behavior, or the sociology of digital spaces.
