TL;DR

Data Scientist (AI): Leading a team of data scientists and engineers to conduct various analyses including data analytics, data engineering, data mining, and predictive analysis with an accent on correlating data into narrative products to inform analytic decisions. Focus on defining problems, supervising studies, and leading surveys to provide solutions and identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies.

What you will do

• Lead a team of data scientists and engineers in data analytics, engineering, mining, exploratory, predictive, and statistical analysis.
• Define problems, supervise studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze data, providing advice and recommending solutions.
• Identify, plan, develop, and execute analytic production methodologies, tradecraft, and techniques aligned with the customer’s mission.
• Create various ML-based tools or processes, such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems.
• Perform statistical analysis, apply data mining techniques, and build high-quality prediction systems.

Requirements

• Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
• Master’s degree in data science, data engineering, mathematics, or a related field (or 5 additional years of experience).
• Minimum of 12 years of experience conducting data science or engineering analysis, with a portion in the last 2 years.
• Deep understanding and experience using Python, R, and/or SQL.
• Prior experience with large data, Multi-INT analytics, machine learning, and automated predictive analytics.
• Demonstrable leadership and management experience on teams of junior to mid-range data scientists, engineers, or analysts.

Nice to have

• At least 20 years of experience conducting data science or engineering analysis, with a portion in the last 2 years.
• Experience creating products for Object Based Intelligence purposes.
• Experience within the Department of War and/or the US Intelligence Community.
• Project or Program Management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile certifications).
