What you will do

• Lead and manage multi-skilled teams of backend, frontend, and firmware engineers.
• Set clear team and individual objectives, providing ongoing performance feedback and development.
• Build and empower teams to deliver creative, thorough, and practical solutions to complex technical problems.
• Collaborate with other Engineering Leads for continuous improvements across the Engineering organization.
• Provide technical guidance and support, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other Engineering Managers to align engineering efforts with business goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Lead or similar leadership role in a technology-driven environment.
• First-hand experience as a software engineer.
• Experience building teams and hiring new team members.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and spoken in English), and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise with industry best principles, practices, and standards such as SOLID, TDD, design patterns, and refactoring.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior management and product teams.
• Experience in leading teams working on large-scale products.

Nice to have

• Experience in products combining both hardware and software.
• Experience in growing scale-ups, from being an early Engineer to a 100+ person team.
• Experience in B2B enterprise products.
