What you will do
- Monitor complex systems and respond to known and emerging threats via intrusion detection software.
- Conduct detailed investigations of security issues by reviewing security log data and triaging security events.
- Perform incident handling processes, including containment, protection, and remediation activities.
- Enhance knowledge of new and emerging threats by analyzing third-party software/solutions and IT configuration changes.
- Design and configure security systems, including proxy, remote access, mail gateway, intrusion prevention, SIEM, and web application firewalls.
- Assess risks based on changes to ISO/BSO, PCI, HIPPA, PII, and Card personalization guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Info Security, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in network operations, engineering, or system administration (Unix, Linux, MAC, or Windows).
- Experience with common security operations, intrusion detection systems, Security Incident Event Management systems, penetration testing, web application assessment, and secure coding practices.
- Must be based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC, Network+, or Security+.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of industry standard security compliance programs (PCI, SOX, GLBA).
