What you will do
- Research, recommend, and implement changes to enhance information systems security and monitoring capabilities.
- Engineer solutions to mitigate control gaps and present them to IT management, coordinating with vendors.
- Review information systems to identify potential security weaknesses and recommend improvements.
- Participate in network and systems design to ensure appropriate security policies are implemented.
- Take part in on-call rotation for security incident triage.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with partners to design, build, and deploy security frameworks.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based onsite in Mason, OH, US.
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT area preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology and 4 years in Information Security.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security practices, networking, infrastructure best practices, and the NIST CSF Framework.
- English: B2 proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of API Security Controls and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Strong knowledge of Secure Email Gateway and DLP platforms.
- Working knowledge of GCP and Azure.
- Industry certifications in Security and Networking (e.g., CISSP, CCNA).
