Location: Barcelona, Spain with hybrid work format and partial remote work allowed.

What you will do

• Design and build resilient ETL/ELT pipelines for image data ingestion, cleaning, and validation.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to create and maintain accurately labeled datasets for model calibration.
• Develop production-grade feature pipelines to avoid training/serving skew in ML models.
• Build automated infrastructure for model training cycles focusing on data versioning and reproducibility.
• Contribute to the long-term vision of image recognition products while delivering measurable business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as Data Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Advanced SQL and distributed processing frameworks knowledge.
• Strong Python coding skills and systems-level problem-solving abilities.
• Location: Must be able to work in Barcelona, Spain (hybrid work with some remote).
• English: Proficient (B2) required.

Nice to have

• PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Experience in Computer Vision and ML model production deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and ML engineering tools like Metaflow, MLflow, Airflow, Grafana.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
