Salary: $137,871–$155,105 USD annually (for US candidates) or $186,306–$209,595 CAN annually (for Canadian candidates).

What you will do

• Partner with product teams to understand and develop testable hypotheses for the impact of new features.
• Identify and measure the success of initiatives through goal setting, forecasting, and ongoing analysis of core outcome metrics.
• Perform exploratory analyses on datasets to extract insights about teacher and learner behavior and guide product decisions.
• Use expertise in statistical techniques to quantify the impact of various features, programs, and interventions.
• Share analytical results with non-technical audiences to help them develop insights about offerings.
• Contribute to the development of self-service analytics tools and work with engineering teams to improve tools and datasets.

Requirements

• Background in applied math, statistics, economics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Proficient with statistical techniques such as multiple regression, causal inference, AB testing, and hypothesis testing for real-world applications.
• Advanced SQL foundations and ability to manipulate data using R or Python.
• Compelling data storytelling and visualization skills (e.g., Looker) to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong business intuition and judgment, with a knack for asking the right questions to drive impact.
• Must be able to work from the Continental US, Hawaii, or Canada only.
