TL;DR

Data Science Intern (AI): Driving performance improvement and cost efficiency in our product through a deep understanding of the ML and infra system with an accent on data-driven insight and scientific solutions. Focus on identifying the best ranking, retrieval and bidding strategies that strike the right balance between ROI and revenue trade-offs.

Location: Must be able and willing to work from our Redwood City, CA office.

Salary: $8,600 - $10,400 USD

What you will do

• Work on and improve various components of our ad-tech stack including ranking, retrieval, auction/bidding and budget pacing.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis to influence R&D decisions and strategies and extract valuable signals out of noise.
• Design and deploy advanced optimization approaches to improve our ad-delivery.
• Validate and quantify the efficiency and performance gain from hypotheses through rigorous simulation and modeling.
• Develop a robust experiment design and metric framework, and provide reliable and unbiased insights for product and business decision making.

Requirements

• Able and willing to work from our Redwood City, CA. office.
• Must be able to work full-time (40-hours per week) for 12-weeks during the summer of 2026 (May - September).
• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD program in a technical or quantitative discipline during the internship.
• Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree must be graduating and obtaining the degree by June of 2027.
