What you will do

• Own major mobile features end-to-end in the Expo / React Native app, from concept to production.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to shape UX, technical architecture, and delivery strategy.
• Make product and engineering decisions beyond implementing predefined specs.
• Drive improvements in app performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Architect scalable patterns for state management, API integration, and offline-first experiences.
• Champion high engineering standards including testing, observability, code quality, and thoughtful reviews.
• Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate development while maintaining quality.
• Ship high-quality features independently with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with strong software fundamentals.
• Deep experience with TypeScript, React Native, and Expo.
• Takes full ownership of projects and sees them through to measurable impact.
• Product-minded, caring about UX, user outcomes, and craft.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making sound technical judgment calls.
• Pragmatic and execution-focused, capable of shipping, iterating, and improving.
