What you will do
- Build and maintain tools that ease building and releasing Open Source software.
- Build and maintain tools that ease ingesting Open Source software.
- Create developer facing documentation and training materials around contributing to and maintaining open source projects.
- Interface with open source communities to understand problems and trends.
- Create tools to automatically analyze and report on Open Source repositories trends and statistics.
- Research and write content for the hirify.global Open Source Hub and contribute to the product through feedback, documentation, or code.
Requirements
- Approximately 3+ years of experience as a software developer, SRE, or other practitioner.
- Fluent in reading and writing one or more languages, e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, C#, Rust.
- Love building tools that make other engineers more productive.
- Empathy, collaboration, and communication skills to cultivate strong relationships across various teams.
