What you will do

• Develop and maintain data platforms to support business needs.
• Implement scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and transformation processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to turn requirements into working solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows to boost performance and cost efficiencies.
• Lead and inspire mid-level and junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in a similar data and platform engineering role.
• Proven track record in coaching and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• A DevOps mindset and knowledge of Engineering design patterns and best practices.
• Experience building data pipelines and platforms using Databricks on Azure or AWS.
• Extensive experience with Python, SQL, and (Py)Spark.
• Solid understanding of Data Platform concepts with hands-on experience designing and building ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques such as 3NF, dimensional modeling, and medallion architectures.
• English is the working language.
