What you will do

• Implement scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation and transformation processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to turn requirements into working solutions.
• Boost performance and cost efficiencies by monitoring and optimizing data workflows.
• Lead and inspire mid-level and junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in a similar role and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record in coaching and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• A DevOps mindset, knowledge of Engineering design patterns, best practices and experience building data pipelines and platforms using Databricks on Azure or AWS.
• Extensive experience with languages and frameworks such as Python, SQL, and (Py)Spark.
• Solid understanding of Data Platform concepts with hands-on experience designing and building ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with an Agile environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are foundational.
