What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain high-performance frontend applications using modern web technologies.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful UI experiences.
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components, ensuring seamless performance across devices.
• Optimize frontend performance, troubleshoot issues, and refine UI/UX.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Build scalable, modular, and maintainable codebases adhering to best practices.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret clearance or higher.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and maintaining scalable frontend applications in production environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development principles, including state management and component architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code with an emphasis on scalability and reusability.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, engineers, and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work on-site 2–3 days per week at offices located in the greater Washington, D.C. and Reston, VA area.
