What you will do
- Design, operate, and maintain Linux-based systems and services in production environments.
- Engage directly with customers to understand infrastructure, security, and business objectives.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for on-premises deployments and upgrades.
- Administer and support Linux servers and related services as a primary platform.
- Troubleshoot complex system and network issues across multiple environments.
- Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams, influencing roadmap and product decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in Linux system administration in production environments.
- Foundational experience with Windows environments.
- Strong experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, firewalls).
- Scripting experience using Bash and/or Python for automation and tooling.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Working knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Experience with DevOps/CI/CD processes.
