Senior Systems Administrator (Linux / Windows): Leading and driving clients’ on-premises business engagements, designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale solutions in complex customer environments with an accent on Linux system administration, networking, and customer-facing technical advisory. Focus on troubleshooting complex system and network issues, performing upgrades/migrations, and influencing product decisions as the voice of the customer.

Location: Onsite in Almaty, Astana, Bengaluru, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Krakow, Kyiv, Lodz, Lublin, Lviv, Odesa, Tbilisi, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Yerevan. Remote work is available from Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Poland.

What you will do

• Design, operate, and maintain Linux-based systems and services in production environments.
• Engage directly with customers to understand infrastructure, security, and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for on-premises deployments and upgrades.
• Administer and support Linux servers and related services as a primary platform.
• Troubleshoot complex system and network issues across multiple environments.
• Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams, influencing roadmap and product decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration in production environments.
• Foundational experience with Windows environments.
• Strong experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, firewalls).
• Scripting experience using Bash and/or Python for automation and tooling.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Working knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Experience with DevOps/CI/CD processes.
