Cybersecurity Intern (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Cybersecurity Intern (Cybersecurity): Assisting in protecting IT infrastructure and improving cybersecurity for a global industrial PC company with an accent on identifying vulnerabilities, developing security policies, and monitoring security events. Focus on quick problem solving for end-user issues and reducing company downtime.

Location: Onsite in South Burlington, Vermont. Must be able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Salary: $18/hour

What you will do

• Assist in identifying and documenting security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Monitor security events for suspicious activity and escalate potential incidents.
• Support security awareness training programs for employees.
• Participate in security assessments and audits.

Requirements

• Junior or Senior Undergraduate student, currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Satisfactory completion of a background check.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, such as networking, Cloud, operating systems, and cybersecurity threats.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
