Design Intern

TL;DR

Location: Must work from an office a minimum of 3 days a week in Calgary, Canada

Salary: $40,000 - $40,000 CAD

What you will do

• Gain exposure and understanding of the creative discipline.
• Collaborate with interns on client and global intern projects.
• Work with a mentor to design solutions meeting strategic objectives.
• Create mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, and animated GIFs.
• Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables.
• Build and maintain team rapport within a multidisciplinary project team.

Requirements

• Strong design portfolio (must include a URL or digital samples with application).
• Currently in the second or third year of a four-year degree program, or first year of a two-year program related to design, visual communications, or advertising.
• Strong visual, interactive, and graphic design skills contributing to traditional digital media.
• Solid working knowledge of the latest design toolsets (Mac OS, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
• Ability to comfortably brainstorm and contribute creative ideas.
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with attention to detail.
