What you will do

• Ensure high standards of quality, reliability, security, and performance across traditional software components.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture and Data Platform teams to define technical principles, data strategy, and system foundations.
• Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks related to data dependencies, model performance, scalability, and production readiness.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure fullstack applications.
• Build and maintain backend services using Java and NodeJS in a microservices architecture.
• Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React and JavaScript, integrating RESTful APIs.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a technical lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring framework, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and public cloud platforms (AWS).
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Python for backend scripting or service development.
• Proven experience integrating with OKTA or similar identity management providers, and a strong understanding of secure coding practices (OAuth2/SAML flows).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and Agile development practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience building or supporting systems that integrate with AI/ML components such as model inference services or data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-native services.
• Experience in Expense Management and Travel industry domains.
• Knowledge of GoLang and NodeJS.
