What you will do

• Work as a Field Network Engineer, architecting, monitoring, and maintaining client technology network, cloud, and server infrastructure.
• Serve as a Technology Advisor, meeting frequently to discuss opportunities to improve the client’s environment with the latest technology, including CyberSecurity and cloud-based solutions to support customer goals.
• Support client environments through expert administration of Microsoft SQL databases, backup schema, log management, and optimization.
• Balance multiple customers’ requests, smaller projects, and necessary meetings while meeting customer satisfaction expectations.
• Maintain flexibility for working after business hours and weekends when required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with customer support in the field of computer systems, servers, and networking in a Managed Services or similar computer consulting field.
• Strong skills in network skill sets, configuring maintaining, and other vendors (i.e., SonicWall, Meraki) firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
• Strong skills in Microsoft M365 range of products focusing on messaging and security solutions.
• Current certifications in any of these technologies will be highly considered.
• Willing to travel locally 1-2 days a week; ability to work and solve most technical issues through remote support is a must.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
• Other skills such as SAGE 300 & 100, Linux, SAN Storage, Mobile deployments, FACTS, and Disaster Recovery.
