What you will do

• Create time-of-day libraries and customize sky box materials.
• Implement local lighting on levels, collaborating with game/level artists.
• Ensure PBR and PBL accuracy, and create custom HDRI maps.
• Script simple lighting functions and IES profiles.
• Monitor and optimize lighting performance on levels.
• Test levels for playability and stability.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of lighting in real-time engines.
• Exceptional eye for color and composition, and light and shadow.
• Strong knowledge of how light reacts with PBR materials and textures.
• Excellent understanding of in-game lighting techniques, atmospheric effects, and subsequent systems.
• A strong portfolio focused on lighting work.
• Basic scripting understanding.
• English: B1+ (speaking) required.
