Solutions Architect (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Solutions Architect (Cybersecurity): Leading the vision and design of next-generation key management platforms and cryptographic infrastructure for U.S. DoD and allied partners, with an accent on secure systems architecture and supply chain trust. Focus on defining solution concepts for Over-the-Network-Keying (OTNK) and multi-domain crypto distribution, and guiding internal engineering execution to field certified products.

Location: Onsite in Tampa, FL, United States. Required to have an active U.S. Government Secret clearance (TS preferred).

What you will do

• Architect next-generation key management and remote rekey platforms.
• Define technical strategy for Over-the-Network-Keying (OTNK) and multi-domain crypto distribution.
• Integrate interoperable cryptographic capabilities across DoD systems.
• Engage with DoD stakeholders, FFRDCs, primes, and coalition partners.
• Translate architectural concepts into executable development roadmaps.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance (TS preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.
• 8+ years experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or systems security engineering.
• Deep understanding of cryptographic systems, key management, secure systems architecture, and trusted computing concepts.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Ability to engage both engineers and senior defense leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience influencing DoD cryptographic interoperability strategy.
• Exposure to KMI, EKMS, or OTNK modernization initiatives.
• Systems engineering background supporting secure mission systems.
• Supply chain risk management or System-of-Trust experience.
• CISSP or equivalent certification.
