Team manager – Post-implementation support
RichBrains is looking for an experienced Team manager to manage a dedicated cross-functional team (5–6 people) supporting post-implementation operations for our clients across the USA, Canada, the UK, and the EU.
This role focuses on ongoing system support and maintenance, not building new projects from scratch.
Role overview:
• Lead and develop a cross-functional team including support, developers, and QA;
• Plan sprints, estimate tasks, balance workload, and coordinate internal resources for effective delivery;
• Work closely with the Technical Lead on security maintenance, incident resolution, and technical decisions;
• Oversee post-implementation support, system stability, and service quality;
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders;
• Coordinate with project teams delivering system enhancements to ensure smooth handoffs and scope alignment;
• Handle escalations and ensure operational continuity;
• Drive continuous process optimisation using AI tools and automation.
To excel in this role you need:
• 1.5+ years in a PM / Team Lead / Customer or Technical Support role with stakeholder communication and people management responsibilities;
• Experience managing small cross-functional teams;
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Solid understanding of Agile (Scrum / Kanban);
• Experience with Jira and Confluence;
• Practical experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilots, automation platforms) to improve workflows;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Fluent English (Advanced).
Would be a plus:
• Experience in the education technology domain;
• Familiarity with Canvas LMS or Salesforce;
• Understanding of accessibility and compliance standards in educational software.
