Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Fintech): Building and scaling high-margin fintech products like Cancel for Any Reason and Disruption Assistance, integrating them with large travel companies via the B2B HTS platform. Focus on designing highly available, globally-scaled microservices architectures and iterating on features using Scala and React.

Location: 100% Remote within Brazil, specifically within Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, or São Paulo.

What you will do

• Iterate on features in an agile manner using Scala and React.
• Design and build core systems within a microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Frontend Engineers.
• Ship high-quality, testable, performing, and scalable code.
• Help hirify.global rise to the top of the travel industry by executing on big opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and how architectural decisions affect performance and maintainability.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Prior cloud experience.
• Experience working with Scala and/or React and its libraries.
• Prior airline/travel industry or eCommerce experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in UX design, using tools like Figma.
• Ability to bring leading industry techniques and technologies to the table.
