Salary: $230,000 – $300,000 USD yearly

What you will do

• Iterate on features using Scala and React with technologies like GCP, OpenAPI, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Make architectural decisions for core systems within a microservices architecture.
• Ship code quickly, iterating on features in an agile manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, giving and receiving feedback.
• Execute on significant opportunities, helping hirify.global rise in the travel industry.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and how architectural decisions affect performance and maintainability.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Prior cloud experience.
• Experience with Scala and/or React and its libraries.
• Prior airline/travel industry or eCommerce experience.
• Excelled in cross-functional teams, working fluidly with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Frontend Engineers.
