What you will do

• Design and maintain high-quality data models using dbt, SQL, and modern transformation practices.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and domain teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Automate workflows using Python for custom connectors and orchestration.
• Prepare and optimize data for BI usage and Tableau dashboards.
• Implement data quality frameworks, tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain clear and accessible documentation including data dictionaries.

Requirements

• Strong experience with dbt, SQL-based data modeling, and modern ELT techniques.
• Ability to understand business logic and translate ambiguous requirements into structured data solutions.
• Practical coding skills in Python for automation and integrations.
• Understanding of BI optimization principles and experience with Tableau.
• Familiarity with data quality testing, CI/CD for analytics, and best practices.
• Strong collaboration skills with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Must be based in or willing to work in Düsseldorf, Germany.
