What you will do

• Support the accurate processing and lifecycle management of OTC and listed derivatives, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement.
• Ensure timely resolution of trade breaks, reconciliations, and discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage daily workflows, ensuring adherence to deadlines and operational risk controls.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce manual intervention, and implement automation initiatives with technology teams.
• Work closely with front office, risk management, and compliance teams to support trade execution and lifecycle processing.
• Adhere to regulatory and internal policies, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and MiFID II.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in derivatives operations, especially within asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking.
• Solid knowledge of derivative products (e.g., swaps, options, futures, forwards) across asset classes.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes, including margining, collateral management, and settlement.
• Proficiency in industry-standard platforms (e.g., Calypso, Murex, MarkitWire) and understanding of automation tools (e.g., Excel VBA, Python, or RPA solutions).
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MiFID II) and operational risk controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
